This post has everything you need to know about The Sagamore Resort! It’s a resort on Lake George in upstate New York, and is a popular destination for families, and anyone who likes a lake!

First, let’s get our bearings. 🤣 Here’s where The Sagamore is on a map. It’s about a 4 hour drive north from the New York City area.
Rooms
There’s the main hotel, or if you’re visiting with a larger group, you can stay in one of the lodges with multiple bedrooms.
Activities
1. Pool
There’s an outdoor pool overlooking the lake, and there’s an indoor pool as well.
2. Lake
And of course, there’s the lake! There are a few different swimming areas in the lake to choose from. There’s this enclosed area that’s shallow and good for kids, and then there’s also a separate roped off area with deeper water and a lifeguard.
3. Boat Tour
One of the things you have to do is take the boat tour! They have a complimentary 1 hour boat tour of Lake George, and they run a few times a day.
4. Rec Center
If you visit with kids, they will NOT be bored. 😄 On top of all the outdoor activities, they also have this giant indoor rec center that has pretty much everything. Ping pong, foosball, wiffle ball, mini golf, a basketball court, and even some video games and a mini movie theater.
5. More Activities
In the summer, some of the other outdoor activities include horseback riding, white water rafting, water skiing, and hiking. And in the winter, some of the outdoor activities include skiing, tubing, and these fun igloos! ❄️
Restaurants
There’s actually quite a few different restaurants to choose from, it’s not just like 1 or 2 places. There’s an Italian restaurant, a restaurant right on the water, a steakhouse, a burger place, and a few others. And of course, a pool bar! 🍹
