Getting a new iMac? You’re in the right place! In this post I’m going to walk through everything you need to know before you buy it.

Step 1. Get The iMac

The first step is to get the iMac. You’re going to be asked if you want to upgrade the memory or storage. I personally never get any of those upgrades since I find them unnecessary for the average person. However, if you are a professional like a music producer, software engineer, or video editor, then you may want to consider getting the upgrades. If you want to check your storage to see what you’re currently using, go to System Settings on the dock ➡️ General ➡️ About and scroll down until you see Storage. I also never get the AppleCare+ insurance, if that answers your question about that. 😄

Step 2. Set It Up

Once everything arrives, you can set it up. Apple makes it SO easy and I walk through exactly what to do in the video below. ⬇️
